Tomorrow the good people at Mozilla are finally releasing the HIGHLY anticipated Firefox 3. They are calling tomorrow, June 17 2008, "Download Day". Their mission according to their site is to set a Guinness World Record for most downloads in a single day, even though there seems to be no official records for this. I also don't know how this can be accurate as they are just going to count full downloads (no partial dl's or updates) , and there is really no stopping you or someone else from downloading it multiple times (you'd have to clear your cookies, for multiple dl's), despite Mozilla pleading you refrain from doing this to get an accurate count.
None the less, as of this writing Firefox has pledged 1.3 million downloads already! WOW! This includes me btw! 8)
